Mountain Biking

Mountain Biking is not a sport for the faint hearted as it possess the power to have you off your seat.(literally) However, once you experience this wonderful sport, once you get the adrenaline through your body, once you get up a hill you never thought you would be able to tackle, the feeling of accomplishment is so great that words alone cannot describe it.

In my homeland Singapore, there are not many places where mountain bikerz are welcome but where we are, its like paradise. The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve Mountain Biking Trail is just one good example of an excellent mountain biking trail. Its climbs are so challening and yet its descends are so technical. This cross country trail never fails to excite and thrill me.

Offshore island and neighbouring countries like Puala Ubin also are mountain bikerz havens.

Cutting egde technology when put into bicycles produce totally amazing machines that enable us to cycle downhill at speeds we never thought were possible. There are many different types of mountain biking, cross country, downhilling, trial etc. One being totally different from the other. Only one thing is common.That is that all mountain biking takes place on inhospitable terrain that is challenging to scale.
